Petite and full of personality, this little cat was sand-cast in solid brass, you can see the handmade character in the modeling, grain, and tool-finished base. It's likely a mid-century piece from the brass workshops of Moradabad, India, long known as Brass City for its vibrant cottage-industry export of brass animals, novelties and decorative objects. With its warm golden tone and soft patina, this cat brings a dose of worldly vintage charm to a shelf, desk, or curio cabinet.
