Kishu lacquerware, also known as Kuroe lacquerware,
was used to make daily necessities such as trays and bowls, which were called Negoro lacquerware.

Negoro lacquerware has black lacquer applied as a base coat, with red lacquer applied over it.
As it is used and worn, and the red lacquer peels off, only the black base coat shows through,
and this itself becomes a scenic element, creating a unique atmosphere.

It is made with Koboku Negoro so that the wood grain is visible.
Koboku Negoro is made to look old even though it is new,
so it has a calm texture that does not feel old even as it ages.

It is unlikely to become tiresome and can be used for many years.

☆Japanese interior decor has a calming effect just by being in a room.

・Stair chests have been around for a long time, but the stair section can be used to display a single flower vase or ornaments, adding a significant decorative element.
・It also has practicality with six drawers.

The drawers are made with the same dimensions vertically and horizontally,
so if you pull them out, rotate them 90 degrees, and reinsert them,
they can be oriented to slope upwards to the right or upwards to the left.

You can change the orientation to match the layout of your room or entryway.
