Description
Thank you for viewing.
This is a small tansu (Japanese chest of drawers) with a Japanese aesthetic, finished with yakigiri (charred paulownia wood).
The deep wood grain, which showcases the artisan's skill, and the beautiful contrast with the black metal fittings that reinforce the four corners, make this a piece that will elevate the atmosphere of any room just by placing it there.
[Recommended Features]
• Meticulously Crafted Yakigiri: By charring the surface, the texture of the wood grain is enhanced, providing a pleasant feel and excellent durability.
• Luxurious Interior: The inside of all drawers is lined with a vibrant **vermilion felt**, allowing you to store precious accessories, watches, Goshuincho (temple stamp books), seals, and more without scratching them.
• Convenient 6 Drawers: With three drawers on the top, two in the middle, and one at the bottom, all of different sizes, it's perfect for organizing small items.
• Lightweight Paulownia Wood: Despite its substantial appearance, it is made of paulownia wood, making it light enough for a woman to carry with one hand, allowing for easy rearrangement.
[Dimensions (Actual)]
• Height: Approx. 23 cm
• Width: Approx. 29 cm
• Depth: Approx. 20 cm
*This is a perfect size for placing on a desktop or shelf.
