Antique Chest - Zelkova and Paulownia Wood - Old Tools - Old Japanese House
58.66 $
Description
This is a lovely chest carved from beautiful zelkova wood.
My grandfather used it to store his Japanese painting supplies.
The wood grain is exceptionally beautiful, so I highly recommend it.
The exterior is made of zelkova wood (keyaki), known for its durability and beautiful grain, while the interior is made of paulownia wood (kiri), which is excellent for moisture resistance.
It appears to be finished with a clear lacquer, giving it a natural look.
Simply placing this chest will instantly enhance the atmosphere of your space.
I would like to pass it on to someone who is looking for such an item.
Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about its age or that it has been stored privately.
