Vintage handwoven coiled basket featuring a rounded olla/bowl form with natural cream and dark brown geometric decoration. Tightly constructed with a wrapped rim and traditional southwestern styling. Construction appears consistent with Southwestern basketry and possibly Tohono O'odham (Papago) work, but maker, age and tribal affiliation are unverified. Measurements 6.5 at widest diameter. 4 opening. 3 and 3/8 tall. Approximately 5 stitches per inch. Approximately 3.75 coils per inch. Pre-owned vintage condition.
