Beautiful set of two handwoven African coiled baskets featuring natural grass fibers woven with vibrant turquoise, white and coral/orange accents. The geometric spiral patterns and organic texture make these wonderful pieces for a gallery wall, tabletop display, shelf styling or shallow decorative bowls.  Construction and style appear consistent with traditional Senegalese/Wolof basketry, in which bundles of natural grass are formed into coils and bound with colorful strips to create intricate patterns. Each basket has a woven loop on the reverse for hanging.
