Showa Retro Vintage Wooden Writing Desk Display Stand One-Piece Top Rokuro Legs
72.60 $
Description
★ This is a Showa-era retro wooden writing desk (low table)!
★ This writing desk has a Showa-retro feel, with intricate details such as the edging of the tabletop, the drawer pulls, and the finely crafted spindle legs.
★ You can use it as a display stand for vases or antique雑貨, or use it in any way you like!
Please bring this unique desk to life in your own way...
★ The age marks on the tabletop and the texture of the wood create an early Showa atmosphere! It's a piece with a tasteful patina from years of use. We highly recommend it to those who appreciate the indescribable charm (worn look) that comes with the passage of time!
★ As shown in the images, the drawer pulls show some blue rust. Also, one of the drawers has a knot hole in the wood, which has been filled with another piece of wood (though we're not sure if it was like this from the start). One of the legs appears to be made from shaved wood from the beginning. We believe this item, with its imperfections, is perfect for those seeking antique furniture!
★ We have only lightly dry-wiped it for this listing. You can enjoy it as is, embracing its worn look, or polish it and apply wax. We want to pass it on to someone who can appreciate old items, so please consider it...
★ An expert once told us that further shaving and polishing would bring out the intricate craftsmanship and create an even better look, but there's no one interested...
It already has a good charm as it is, though...
