Rare Antique
Highest Quality Writing Desk
8 Drawers

Made with high-quality wood and is quite heavy.
The handles are made of kurokaki (black persimmon wood), which is treated as a treasure. Although it is an antique over 100 years old, the wood grain is beautiful from all angles and the luster is superb.

About Kurokaki (Black Persimmon Wood):
It is considered auspicious, bringing good fortune, wealth, and fulfillment of desires, making it a popular choice for gifts and commemorative trees.

A writing bureau is furniture that combines a writing desk and a cabinet (bureau).
When writing, doing administrative work, or working at a desk online, the top surface is lowered forward, and the lowered door panel becomes the desk.

Inside the door, there are shelves for storing books and documents, or for organizing small items that tend to clutter a desk area. Below that, there are drawers like a chest or dresser, allowing for compact yet ample storage.
The inner shelves are adjustable.

The upper part can be used as a desk for work or hobbies, and the lower part can be used for storing clothes and bulky items. When the door, which serves as the desk, is closed, it creates a neat and stylish room or space even in a small area.

It would be lovely as shop furniture for salons or cafes, adding an elegant charm and sophistication for storage and interior decoration.

Considering a Rococo style.

It is in good condition for an antique, but there are signs of age-related deterioration and minor scratches.
