The Black Lux finish is distressed and is meant to have natural blemishes. The finish will crack and wear over time. I love them, but they are just a little too small for me (I usually wear a 7 or 7.5 but wear an 8 in these boots). I also want a pair of true black boots, so I’m selling these to make room 🙂.
