Description
This is a custom repair part for the hi-hat pedal of the TD series electronic drums.
If your device is not responding when stepped on, or only responds when stepped on hard, the internal rubber part shaped like the one in the photo may be deteriorated or hardened.
You may find methods online to soak the rubber part in hot water, but it will harden again after a while. Depending on the degree of deterioration, it may even melt in hot water (mine did, lol).
This product is a custom repair part made with a high-precision 3D printer.
It is made of a soft material (TPU) also used in soft smartphone cases.
By simply replacing the deteriorated part, you can maintain its functionality for a long time without maintenance (I've been using it on my own device for several years after installing it as is, and there have been no problems so far).
Since it is made with a high-precision 3D printer, it can be replaced directly (due to the printing process, some sides may be slightly rough, but this does not affect operation at all).
Replacement is not difficult (you can find instructions by searching online).
Replacement for HD series may be more difficult than for FD series, but it is possible.

Confirmed to work with FD series 6, 7, 8, HD series 1 (kick & hi-hat), and TD series 1.
It is believed to be compatible with other devices that use parts of the same shape, although this has not been confirmed.
