Korea Joseon Dynasty Legged Soban (Small Table) - Lee Dynasty
79.20 $
Description
A small, leg-mounted soban purchased by my grandmother in Seoul about 10-15 years ago.
Small, leg-mounted soban are rare even among antiques, and this one is in beautiful condition.
This is part of a collection that my grandmother, who has been collecting for over 50 years, has gathered. She loves items from Kodo Sakata, Mejiro Collection, World Antique, Antiques, Mingei, and Primitive Art.
This is a very precious item. My grandmother purchased it as deadstock and displayed it on a shelf. However, due to a move and a desire to downsize, she reluctantly decided to part with some of her collection and wishes to pass it on to someone who will cherish it.
