Made in Spain Pablo Picasso Guernica 97x44cm Canvas Print
61.38 $
Description
This was purchased by my mother at the Picasso Museum in Spain over 30 years ago.
It seems to have been displayed in a room for a few months, as there are pinholes in the four corners.
It has been stored rolled up for a long time, so there are several damages as shown in the photos.
The poster is placed on a strong fabric backing, similar to linen.
Unlike paper posters, its unique luxurious texture makes it a statement piece for interior decoration.
Print size:
97 x 44 cm
Canvas size:
104 x 52.5 cm
Not framed. Please frame it to your liking.
Guernica is a painting created by the Spanish artist Pablo Picasso in 1937, the year the town was subjected to indiscriminate bombing by the German air force, and also refers to a mural made with the same design. It depicts the indiscriminate bombing of the city of Guernica in the province of Biscay by the German Luftwaffe's Condor Legion.
