Larimar Teardrop Ring Split Shank Caribbean Blue Marked 925 Sterling Silver Sz 8

Natural Larimar ring featuring a polished teardrop / almond-shaped cabochon in beautiful Caribbean blue with white cloud-like marbling and areas of deeper turquoise blue. The natural variations in color and pattern give the stone an individual appearance characteristic of Larimar.  The cabochon is surrounded by a smooth sterling silver bezel and set over an open back, allowing the reverse of the natural stone to remain visible. The setting flows into a substantial split-shank band, with the two silver sections joining into a single rounded band toward the back.  Marked 925 inside the band for sterling silver.  Larimar is the rare blue variety of pectolite found in the Dominican Republic and is especially recognized for its blue, turquoise and white patterns reminiscent of Caribbean water.  Measurements: Face measures approximately 19.1 × 14.2 mm (0.75 × 0.56 inch). Band width is approximately 3.8 mm (0.15 inch). Overall setting/profile measures approximately 6.7 mm (0.26 inch).
