VTG 1940s Guglielmo Cini Sterling Silver Necklace Cattleya Orchids 15" Pat No.
Guglielmo Cini
Guglielmo Cini Sterling Silver Necklace Cattleya Orchids with Book link Box clasp with Patent No 2369543 dates to 1945 He had already moved from Italy to California so I assume it's made in the USA Similar motif in his jewelry but fits with his collection of flora from the 1940s Researching the patent number, I found that Cini did use this patented clasp in the 1930s to 40s, though not universal on all is pieces. This patent is from 1945. Unsigned or has worn to point I can't see it Choker length necklace at 15.5 not including the clasp (shown in photo) 22.7 grams **NOTE Matching Bracelet being sold separately** The condition is excellent given it's age. I can find no flaws but the clasp is a little hard to maneuver given the edge rounding for insert but also makes it very secure. Estate collection Bin M02
