Vintage GLPCO Art Nouveau Gold Etched Brooch Scarf Pin Oval Engraved Faux Buckle

Vintage Signed GLPCO Brooch - produced by the George L Paine Company circa 1910's in the USA. The style is Art Nouveau into Art Deco - this piece is a large brooch with a simple c-loop clasp and long pin perfect to embellish thick fabrics such as coat/fur/heavy scarf. The brooch resembles a faux buckle. Goldtone metal appears to be Gold filled or perhaps plated - the surface finish has a wonderful delicate engraved swirl pattern. Oval shape with rich color - minor discoloration (see pics) - sturdy clasp. A very lovely collectible in good Vintage antique condition - very pretty and very wearable.
