Vintage WWII USAAF Sterling Silver Bomber Airplane Sweetheart Brooch Pin

Vintage WWII-era U.S. Army Air Forces aviation sweetheart brooch featuring a detailed twin-engine military airplane design.  The aircraft features dimensional engine and propeller details along with a blue and white U.S. military star-and-bar insignia on the wing. The reverse is clearly stamped STERLING and has a long pin-back closure.  A great vintage aviation collectible with attractive natural patina. Exact aircraft model and maker are unknown, so no specific aircraft identification or manufacturer attribution is being claimed.
