I've drawn a Toco Toucan, designated as Brazil's national bird, with its wonderfully colorful beak and striking black and white plumage. It seems to be a popular and famous bird, often serving as the mascot at Japanese zoos.
R: With such a huge beak, doesn't it get in the way when flying?
M: Yeah, it looks heavy, but it's mostly hollow and spongy inside, so it's surprisingly light and doesn't hinder its life at all.
R: And since its feathers are black anyway, I wish Japanese crows had such colorful beaks too.
M: R, you come up with amazing ideas. Yeah, maybe crows would become popular if they did... but probably not.
