There may be a tiny bit of pilling I didn’t try to remove. I always laid flat to dry. My daughter wore this as her base layer for two seasons of skiing and she was a little big for it the second season hence the popped seams lol. We just put tight wool socks over the feet and it didn't affect the warmth or wear for us. If you are a skiing/hiking/snowshoeing with baby type family, wool unders like this for baby are a necessity. They help so much, they are breathable and wick sweat and also keep baby toasty. It's more effective to use fewer layers of high quality materials than a million of polyester. This has snaps on shoulder for roll down potty breaks and also snaps in crotch. My daughter has been skiing since she could walk and she does great and will stay out a long time with us in her gear. I'm the first owner and paid >$100 for this.
