Guaranteed authentic! This is an authentic work by the master artist 【Saeki Kangyoku】 (1749-1838), considered the founder of the Kishi school. He was a popular painter of the late Edo period, known for his realistic style with rich colors, depicting landscapes, figures, and tigers in the Nanga tradition. He served the Arisugawa family, the Imperial Court, and court nobles as a painter for the court. This is a Fierce Tiger painting by the master of tiger paintings, 【Kangyoku】, boasting overwhelming power. It is a work that conveys the majestic expression of the fierce tiger and a sense of dynamism as if it could move at any moment. Comes with a period wooden box with an old collection seal.
