【Rare - 1663g】SABIAN Crescent Hammertone 20"

【Product Overview】
This is a Hammertone 20 Ride cymbal from the period when it was part of the Crescent series after SABIAN acquired the brand. This particular cymbal features the SABIAN Crescent logo, predating its integration into the current HH series.

【Historical Background and Value of this Item】
Crescent was founded by five artisans who spun off from Bosporus, and this Hammertone model was shaped by the dedication of Jeff Hamilton.
• Evolution of Specifications: After the transition to SABIAN, the specifications gradually changed to those of the current HH series. However, this item is from a time when it still strongly retained the Crescent lineage.
• Weight Advantage: Current HH versions tend to be designed slightly thicker, weighing in the 1,700g-1,800g range. This individual cymbal, however, is exceptionally lightweight at 1,663g.
• Sound: This lighter weight more faithfully reproduces the supple touch, controlled attack, and sustaining warm tone that Jeff Hamilton originally sought for this series.

【Item Data and Condition】

This is a cherished item in my collection, but due to unforeseen circumstances, I must reluctantly part with it. Furthermore, I feel that my current skill level is not sufficient to fully bring out the true value of this instrument, so I hope it will go to someone who will cherish it.
