Vintage Italian Brass Scapular (Religious) Keychain

Vintage (circa 1960s) Italian made brass scapular keychain. Scared Heart of Jesus on one side and the Virgin Mary holding the Infant Jesus on the reverse. Good pre-owned condition with age appropriate wear. Images are crisp. Both sides have sharp detailing. The natural darkened patina in the recesses help the details pop. Please see photos. The photos are part of the description. The snake chain style attached to the medal is highly characteristic of the 1960s. It is the original fully functional chain which is attached to the original functional key ring. Weight = 12.89 grams. The medal measures approx. 1 x 1/2.  Unable to bundle. Both the Virgin Mary and the Child Jesus are holding small rectangular fabric strips hanging from cords. These are brown scapulars, a powerful symbol of devotion and protection associated with the Carmelite Order. Both figures wear crowns, designating Mary as the Queen of Heaven and Jesus as King. The origin stamp is in the bottom left corner of the rectangular plate and stamped ITALY. Scared Heart of Jesus on reverse. The image of the Virgin and Child is unusual and not commonly seen. Rare find.
