Description
Vintage woven striped apparel fabric in a cheerful multicolor stripe on a crisp white ground. Alternating stripes of red, blue, green and lavender are accented with very fine yellow and pale blue/gray lines. Lightweight with a smooth hand, a little structure and nice body without being stiff. Well suited to a button-front shirt, shirtwaist dress, blouse, sundress, children’s clothing or other vintage-inspired sewing. Fiber content is unmarked; feels most consistent with a cotton/polyester blend. The weave, width and styling suggest approximately the 1970s. Nice usable vintage yardage with finished selvages.
