Vintage 1970s Sunbeam Mixmaster 12-Speed Stand Mixer With Beaters & Bowls Tested

This is a classic, late-1970s mid-century style Sunbeam Mixmaster Stand Mixer in the iconic almond/off-white color scheme with a brown Bakelite handle and faux-woodgrain chrome nose cone.  Included are two bowls- large & small and two chrome beaters and two dough hooks.  As you can see in the video it does work.  The mixer needs a thorough deep cleaning and cosmetic detailing. There is visible dried grease residue tracing along the lower chrome faceplate housing seal and under the beater sockets. The motor powers on and the gears turn. However, because the factory lubricant inside the gear casing is decades old, it is highly recommended that the buyer opens the housing to remove the old grease and repack it with fresh grease before heavy culinary use. Beneath the surface grease and dust, the almond paint and polished chrome are structurally sound with no major cracks or heavy dents.
