Vintage Cookie Cutters-Fluted Edges-Wood Pointed Knob Handles

These are vintage aluminum cookie cutters featuring red painted, pointed, wooden knob handles. The set shown includes classic shapes with fluted edges. The spade and the heart are styled after playing card suits in a deck of cards. The star shape matches them. These are kitchen collectibles from the 1940’s-1950’s.   The aluminum cookie cutters have much patina with some aluminum oxide present. There are surface scratches on the aluminum. There are surface scratches and a few black spots on the wood. The red paint is showing wear from age and use. There’s no cracks or splits in the wood. The wooden knobs are held in place by a central rivet. The handle on the spade is tight. The handles on the heart and star are intact but the rivets are loose.  These were part of a larger cookie cutter collection of my own, curated for approximately 10 years. Downsized and now unable to display them. Sizes vary and range from 2 1/4 - 2 3/4 in diameter and approximately 1/2 thick. See pictures for approximate sizes.  Sold as is from a cat friendly, smokers home.
