Japanese Painting Shikishi Art Phalaenopsis-style Hand-painted Signed Flower Painting Artwork
10.00 $
Description
This is a Japanese painting on shikishi (a type of stiff paper) featuring orchid-like flowers.
It is hand-painted (subjective assessment based on sight and touch), with a seal impression in the lower right corner. (It appears to read Shisen.)
The subtle color palette creates an elegant atmosphere, making it perfect for decorating Japanese-style rooms or entryways.
It was displayed in my father-in-law's entryway towards the end of the Heisei era.
