Antique Vintage Jewelry Dresser Parlor Box Victorian Ladies Scene Lid Mirror

Vintage antique wooden gold jewelry keepsake trinket box with a victorian scene under glass on the top and an interior mirror. The victorian scene on the cover is still quite vibrant. Designed to hold jewelry or other keepsakes and features subdivided compartments underneath the glass top. The interior base of the box is also glass and covers a brocade style lining. The pull-ribbon for opening the box is new and can be changed out to suit your needs. Pretty parlor box and beautifully crafted. This artwork is a reproduction of Dance before a Fountain by Nicolas Lancret, a fête galante depicting aristocratic figures dancing, playing music, and lounging in a garden. This rectangular box is a medium size with a gold color finish. The lift-up lid and mirrored design make it a unique and stylish addition to any room or collector's display. This original piece weighs approximately 3 Ibs and measures approximately 10 in length, 8 in width, and 10.5 in height (with the mirrored top open). Perfect for storing jewelry or other precious items, this Victorian-style dresser parlor box exudes elegance and charm. Very good vintage pre-owned condition. The interior mirror shows an unusual natural-looking dendritic / branching pattern and areas of age-related foxing and silvering deterioration. Hinged lid opens and closes smoothly. Gently worn wood has a warm, timeworn finish. Please see photographs. From a clean, non-smoking home.
