Vintage Signed Blue Drip Glaze Pottery Vase Applied Cherry Blossoms MCM 7 Striking vintage art pottery vase with a deep cobalt and midnight-blue reactive drip glaze over a warm brown clay body. A dimensional gnarled branch wraps around the bulbous vase and is decorated with raised pink plum or cherry blossoms, buds, and green leaves. The sculptural relief and dramatic glaze make this a beautiful statement piece for an MCM, organic modern, or Asian-inspired display. The base bears an incised potter's monogram or initials, but the maker has not been identified. A current identical example is also described as a signed mid-century floral studio pottery vase.
