Antique Nippon Moriage Salt Cellar Early Noritake Morimura Brothers Hand Painted

Antique Nippon hand painted porcelain salt cellar featuring beautiful floral decoration and ornate raised gold moriage scrollwork.  This charming early 20th century piece has a double handled design and stands on three small feet. The interior is decorated with pink and purple floral artwork while the exterior features detailed gold ornamentation typical of Nippon porcelain from the export era.  The base retains the original red Nippon export mark indicating manufacture in Japan between approximately 1891 and 1921.
