Signed Studio Art Pottery Mini Vase Stoneware Abstract Glaze 3"

Small handmade studio art pottery vase or decorative vessel featuring a glossy banded glaze in earthy brown, black and deep green.  The piece has a rounded body, raised horizontal bands and a flared opening. Visible throwing lines and slight variations in the form and glaze give it an attractive one-of-a-kind artisan appearance.  The underside is incised with what appears to read GRA along with 94, possibly representing the artist's initials and a 1994 date. The maker has not been identified.  Measurements: Approximately 3 1/8 inches tall. Approximately 12 inches in circumference around the body, or about 3 3/4 to 3 7/8 inches in diameter.  Condition: Pre-owned with scattered small chips, glaze loss and edge wear along the raised brown bands and rim. Additional minor surface wear and natural handmade imperfections are present.
