【Price Negotiable】Ultra-Rare Authentic (Made February 1989) Tadashi Shimura "Title: Sakura"
This is a painting of Cherry Blossoms by artist Tadashi Shimura.
Created in February of Showa 64 (1989), this piece was commissioned by Shimura-sensei to commemorate the completion of a construction project.
It was displayed in the reception room of a major construction company and has now been brought back due to renovations.
Shimura-sensei is a Kyoto-based artist who has worked on important cultural property sliding door paintings and postage stamp designs commissioned by the government.
Furthermore, the back of the painting lists the names of major construction companies, making it a historically valuable document for the construction industry.
