Vintage Polished Aluminum Ant Sculpture - Nima Oberoi Lunares San Francisco

Add a touch of sophistication to your space or garden with this stunning, oversized ant sculpture from the renowned Nima Oberoi Lunares Modern Fauna collection. This piece is for purchase as-is. Hand-sandcast from heavy aluminum and polished, this captivating piece features stylized, fluid legs reminiscent of dinner fork tines. Perfectly balances mid-century modern design with whimsical flair. Ant features the three distinct insect body segments (head, thorax, and gaster) along with the characteristic long antennae and mandibles at the front. Please note the rear segment/gaster is cracked all along left side. Piece remains completely sturdy sitting flat and displays beautifully. Although imperfect, this piece is still stunning and would make a nice living room focal point stacked on top of some books, placement in the kitchen near a bowl of fruit or open kitchen shelf, as a shelf-accent in an office, or my favorite place, in your garden.
