Vintage Cochiti Pueblo Native American Painted Rawhide Wood Hand Drum 7.5" READ

There is some damage to both the top and bottom of the drum. As shown on photos. Also noticed damage on one of the sides. There is a rattling noise inside when I turn it from side to side. Something is inside of the drum causing that noise. Provenance: Acquired from a church rummage sale in the Midwest. No additional ownership history is available. Please Note (Vintage Item): • Authentic vintage item with age-appropriate wear consistent with and use. • Please examine all photographs carefully, as they are considered part of the description. • Measurements are approximate. • Colors may vary slightly depending on your monitor or device settings. • I'm happy to provide additional photographs or answer any questions before purchase. With its original painted decoration this drum represents a wonderful opportunity to acquire an example of traditional Pueblo craftsmanship. It would make an excellent addition to a collection of Native American, Pueblo, Southwestern, or ethnographic art. We ship Monday - Friday and do not typically ship over the weekend. These items come from a smoke free / pet free home. For the items that are pre-owned, I will do my best to describe the wear. It is likely there is cosmetic wear throughout the item. Or that the item is used but not abused. There may be a slight color difference in my photos compared to the actual item.
