I purchased this for timpani in a wind ensemble.
Timpani-specific chairs are expensive, bulky, and heavy, making them unsuitable for transport.
So, I looked for a drum chair that could be raised the highest and found this one.
The ingenious feature of this product is the wing bolt on the ring screw that prevents the seat from slipping, which can be turned by hand. This is a well-thought-out design, as this part usually requires a tuning key to move.
It's inexpensive, lightweight, stable, and easy to adjust the height, making it very useful.

I can sit for long periods (2-3 hours) without getting tired. The tripod is stable, and it's more user-friendly than I expected, which has been a great help. I'm not sure about the cost-performance, but I recommend it to drummers and keyboard players.
