Description
Add a touch of timeless antique elegance to your home or vanity with this exceptional hand-painted porcelain plate. Crafted in Japan during the early 20th century, this piece features a peaceful, scenic landscape depicting a lakeside cottage, mature trees, and a floating swan bathed in a rich, warm sunset glow. The plate features an elegant, subtly curved handle with delicate gold gilt trim along the edges. The reverse side is stamped with the classic Cherry Blossom Sakura backstamp, dating this piece to circa the 1920s. Excellent vintage pre-owned condition! No chips, cracks, or crazing. There is minor, age-appropriate wear to the gold trim and surface paint finish, which only adds to its authentic antique charm.
