Description
Pierre-Auguste Renoir
Girl with a Falcon
This is a rare EA edition with a confirmed original signature. It has been opened for inspection. The frame appears to be quite old and is secured with what look like pins.
Photos of the interior are included.
The paper has a watermark that reads ARCHES. FRANCE, which confirms this is a reproduction of a Renoir painting.
As you can see, the frame has scratches and is secured with what appear to be pins.
EA stands for Épreuve d'Artiste in French, meaning Artist's Proof. It is said to be for the artist's own collection or for preservation.
This item is being listed with a set price.
If shipped, the pins used to secure the artwork will not be reusable, so it will be secured with tape for shipping.
