The 1st Chair Glide Rider drum throne was created with the goal of supporting the body's center of gravity stably and reducing the accumulation of fatigue when sitting for long periods of time.
This saddle-shaped drum throne seat achieves an ideal balance of softness and hardness, unlike previous TAMA models, with a hard urethane foam molded inside and a cross material on the top of the seat to prevent slipping during play.

The nylon bushings equipped inside the seat holder fix the screw rod with a flat surface. This provides high stability, resistant to lateral movement during play. The base can be attached to a 22.2mm diameter pipe/rod.
