Showa Retro Renoir "Woman with a Hat" F15 Size, Height 72cm, Width 61cm, Relief Craft
130.68 $
Description
This is a relief art reproduction (replica) titled Woman with a Hat by Renoir.
I received it as a gift from an acquaintance, but I don't have space to display it, so I'm listing it for sale.
Here are the details from AI:
• Artwork Title: Woman with a Hat by Renoir.
• Manufacturer: This piece is from Dai Nippon Ga Kōgei Bijutsu, a long-established manufacturer that once produced extremely high-quality reproductions in Japan.
• What is Relief Art? This is a technique that goes beyond simple color printing, **three-dimensionally reproducing the paint buildup (brushstrokes)** characteristic of oil paintings. The surface is textured and bumpy, allowing you to enjoy a feel close to that of an actual oil painting.
The frame is also a solid and substantial one, giving it a sense of weight.
It was reportedly purchased for around 200,000 yen at a department store when new.
Please judge the condition from the photos.
I am also happy to provide additional photos upon request.
