Labradorite is the stone of manifestation, transformation, awareness, and protection. Special Note: Labradorite is a captivating feldspar mineral known for its unique optical phenomenon known as labradorescence.  The phenomenon is caused by the interference of light waves reflecting off the internal layers of the mineral. These layers are usually composed of differing compositions of sodium and calcium, which create variations in refractive indices. As light interacts with these layers, certain wavelengths are amplified while others are diminished, leading to the dazzling play of colors that labradorite is renowned for.
