I purchased this used about two years ago and used it a few times for Jazz performances.
The belt drive was replaced with a new one last year, so it is in very good condition.

Another non-original part is that the bearing where the spring hook is attached has been replaced with a smoother one than the original.

The differences and features compared to the FP720 are described at the bottom, but it catches more delicate movements than the FP700.

This is a very rare item as it is currently discontinued and highly popular.
Please consider it if you are looking for one.
There are signs of use, but there are no cracks or chips, and you can play it without any problems.

There were actually four models in the 700 series: 701, 702, 710, and 720. Models 701 to 710 were similar, with the 720 being a further minor change.

The main difference between the 710 and the 720 is the shape of the beater angle plate and the position of the beater holder.

The 710, with the beater closer to the center of the shaft, is easier to convey nuances, while the 720, with the beater attached to the outside of the cam away from the center, increases centrifugal force and power.

Also, the 720 has a three-hole angle plate, allowing for setting in the center position.
