Complete Collection of Modern Japanese Bijin-ga Paintings, 12 Volumes: Shoen Uemura, Tsunetomi Kitano, Yumeji Takehisa, and Others [Beautiful Used Book]

This is a complete 12-volume set of Gendai Nihon Bijin-ga Zenshu (Complete Collection of Modern Japanese Paintings of Beautiful Women). Published by Shueisha, it features works by renowned artists such as Shoen Uemura, Kiyokata Kaburagi, and Shinsui Ito.

The set has been stored for a long period (approximately 47 years). While the storage case shows some signs of age-related yellowing, scuffing, and dirt, the art books inside are in exceptionally beautiful condition, almost like new.

Protective plastic covers were attached to the storage case. However, they have been removed from 4 volumes due to deterioration.

All obi (book bands) are included.

In my personal opinion, the art books inside are so clean that I suspect they were rarely taken out of the case. I believe these were likely considered valuable art collections that artists would want to own.

The original price around 1979 was ¥1,600 per volume, which would equate to approximately ¥38,400 for the 12 volumes today. Selling them at too low a price would be disrespectful to the artists, so I am listing them at a reasonable price. However, if there is someone interested who would like to purchase them at their desired price, please let me know.

This item is also listed on other sites, so it may be suddenly removed. Thank you for your understanding.
