Yukio Sakurai Framed Reproduction Print "Long Throw" Little League Baseball by Yukio Sakurai

This is a reproduction print of a popular oil painting series, known for its Bench Without a Turn, created by the emerging young artist Yukio Sakurai. The series depicts heartwarming scenes of a youth baseball team, with Sakurai's own child, who had just joined the team, as the model. The little girl who seems to have tagged along with her older brother and the small hands barely grasping a ball are particularly endearing.

The original reproduction prints from that era are now out of print and difficult to obtain. What is offered here is a rare remaining piece, newly framed with a new, Japanese-made frame.

For those who prefer to frame it themselves, we also offer a frame-less version separately.
