This beautiful gold-tone figural brooch features two lovebirds perched on a branch, beautifully constructed with vibrant, faceted amethyst-purple Bohemian art glass stones. Dating strictly to the early-to-mid 1920s, this brooch features two highly desirable historical markers that confirm its pedigree: 1. The Hallmark: Stamped Czecho on the reverse- a specific short abbreviation used by artisans in the Jablanica region primarily between 1918 and the mid01920s. 2. The Clasp: Features the period-correct, original primitive curved C hook catch in excellent, functioning condition. Condition report: Excellent vintage/antique condition.
