Description
This is a TAMA pedal from the late 1970s to the 1980s.
I believe it's a model inspired by the Speed King.
There's very little information available, but it's featured on the Shirai Music channel, so please take a look.

Thanks to its direct drive mechanism and the design where the beater and footboard are aligned in a straight line, it offers an amazing sense of unity with your foot.
One modification has been made: the part where the rocker cam spring attaches has been converted to a roller.
(Originally, it was designed to hook directly onto an aluminum protrusion.)
I believe this significantly reduces friction.
The beater is from the original period.
It's very smooth and perfectly usable even today.
