Western-style painter.
Member of the Hakujitsu-kai, affiliated with Group Dai.
Biography
Born in Nagano Prefecture in 1931.
Graduated from Bunka Gakuin College, Department of Fine Arts.
1970 Exhibited at the 13th Yasui Prize Exhibition.
1972 Traveled to Europe.
1977 Traveled to the United States.
1978-1980 Exhibited in the Contemporary Nude Women exhibition (Nichido Gallery, Tokyo/Osaka).
1985 Withdrew from the Ichiyokai.
1986 Recommended as a member of the Hakujitsu-kai.
1987 Exhibited in the Osaka City Art Institute 40th Anniversary Exhibition (Osaka City Museum of Fine Arts).
1987, 1989, 1991, 1993 Participated in the Kansai Women Artists Selected Exhibition (The Museum of Modern Art, Osaka).
1990, 1992, 1994-1997 Exhibited in the Hakujitsu-kai Member Selected Exhibition.
Exhibited with Kiyoshi Ito and the Hakujitsu-kai (Izushi Town Kiyoshi Ito Museum of Art).
2016 Held a solo exhibition at the 14th Group Dai Exhibition.
Numerous solo exhibitions.
Currently a member of the Hakujitsu-kai.
