Kendo Tsuba (Black Taijitu) (Horse and Cowhide) Leather Craft

I made an original design leather tsuba (hand guard) for Kendo as a hobby. How about it for those who want to add individuality and fun to their Kendo?
Thickness: 6mm to 8mm
Inner diameter: 30mm, Outer diameter: 80mm
Yin and Yang symbol motif
Black part: Horsehide
Natural part: Cowhide
It is softer than commercially available leather tsuba, but it has not broken during practice, matches, or dan examinations.
Photos 7 and 8 show a tsuba I used for one year with weekly practice.
Because the leather is soft, it fits even relatively thick shinai (bamboo swords).
The shinai shown is a 3.9 [Hyuga Series Wide Barrel] from professional Kendo practitioner Hyuga Kajitani.
As this is handmade and hand-stitched by an amateur, please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for perfection.
