Beautiful and collectible vintage Hermès Paris “Alphabet III” Carré 90 silk scarf, designed by celebrated Hermès artist Annie Faivre and originally issued circa 1990.  This whimsical design features an imaginative menagerie of animals, birds and woodland creatures artfully arranged to form the HERMÈS lettering across the center. A wonderful example of the wit and artistry that makes vintage Hermès scarves so collectible.  Rendered in an especially elegant soft celadon/sage green and ivory colorway with accents of ochre gold, cobalt blue, rust and chocolate brown.
