Beautiful purple cotton fabric with a subtle tone-on-tone micro-floral design. The deep violet-purple ground is densely patterned with tiny lavender leaves and stylized floral motifs, layered with softly mottled lavender and pale highlights for added depth. The design reads almost as a textured or marbled purple from a distance, while up close the delicate botanical pattern becomes visible. Good-quality structured woven cotton with a substantial quilting-cotton type hand. Not sheer or drapey. Approximately 2 continuous yards × 44” wide. Likely 1990s–early 2000s, although exact age and manufacturer are unknown.
