Description
Adorable vintage ceramic frog salt & pepper shaker pair, made in Japan. Each frog features a bright green body, yellow belly, large expressive eyes, pink mouth and red cheek details. Brown painted markings run down the backs. Wonderful whimsical expressions and classic mid-century Japanese novelty kitchenware styling. One shaker is marked JAPAN on the bottom. Both retain their cork stoppers. Approximately 2¾–3 inches tall and about 1½ inches wide based on the measurement photos. Vintage pre-owned condition with expected age-related wear. There is visible paint/glaze wear, small surface marks and discoloration consistent with age. Corks show aging. I don't see an obvious major crack or repair in the photos. Please review photos carefully as they are part of the condition description. A charming pair for collectors of frog décor, vintage salt & pepper shakers, Japanese ceramics, kitschy kitchenware, mid-century collectibles or animal figurines.
