Vintage Huot Serrater Crinkle Cutter Meat Tenderizer Original Box MCM Kitchen

Wonderful vintage Huot Serrater and Meat Tenderizer by Huot Manufacturing Company of St. Paul, Minnesota.  This unusual mid-century kitchen gadget was designed primarily for making wrinkle-edge/crinkle-cut French fries, but the original literature also advertises it for cutting fruits, vegetables and pickles, tenderizing meat and trimming bread for fancy sandwiches.  Features a 6-inch stainless steel serrated/crinkle blade, plated metal frame and red handle.  Even better, this example still includes its original illustrated cardboard box and original printed information insert — fantastic for a collector of vintage kitchenware and advertising. The metal cutter appears quite clean for its age with normal age-related wear. Original box shows considerable storage wear, including edge wear, creasing, discoloration and paper loss/tears as pictured. Original insert remains present and displays nicely.
