Snare drum, no brand, possibly modified
There are several holes in the shell, but I'm not sure if they were there from the beginning or if someone intentionally made them.
In my experience, the sound itself was not affected.
Photo 2 shows masking tape applied to the head.
(It was applied for muting. I left it on because I thought removing it would leave adhesive residue on the head.
Other items like tissues used for muting have been removed.)
*What is muting?
Muting is done to suppress excess resonance in drums. When muting a snare drum, various materials such as duct tape and tissues are used.
Holes: Photos 8, 9, 11, 12
Rust and dirt are present throughout, as shown in Photo 13.
The bottom hoop is warped. Photo 14
Photo 19 shows the screw mechanism turning.
The top shows when the screw is loosened, and the bottom shows when it is tightened.
I received this from an acquaintance when I was active in a band.
I am selling it because I have no plans to be active in a band.
